Three senior drama students concluded their performing arts careers at Ransom Everglades by selecting plays for the annual Senior Directing Showcase, choosing casts of peers, directing rehearsals and overseeing performances on May 5 and 13. Brito opened the showcase on May 5 with "Lockdown" by Douglas Craven, a play in which students find themselves in lockdown in a darkened classroom, unsure of whether they are facing a drill or real emergency. Brito's cast included Abby Aldrich '20, Asher Lieberman '20, Isa Peña '19, Ben Arriola '18, Anna Bhatt '18, Raquel Coronell '18, Ava Dimond '18, Lauren Eskra '18, Ana Lucia Perla '18 and Rudy Prio Touzet '18.
On May 13, Dan directed "'Dentity Crisis" by Christopher Durang, a comedy in which a teen girl recovering from a nervous breakdown (Rachel Seipp '19) finds the craziness of her life more real than she thought. Ivy McWilliams '18, Greg Bales '17. John Mistele '17 and Cristina Otero '17 also starred.
Baumann directed "Your Mother’s Butt" by Alan Ball. The tale about a psychologist seeing a troubled patient featured Juanchi Roca-Paisley '19 and Noa Richard '18.
