RE Crew Travels to the Head of the Charles Regatta

Ransom Everglades Crew sent one crew to the 53rd Head of the Charles Regatta this past weekend in Boston, MA. The weekend was characterized by the best weather in the history of the regatta with each of the three days seeing temperatures in the mid-70’s, light winds, and brilliant blue skies, along with hundreds of thousands of spectators each day.

The Boys Coxed Quad (4x+) of Andres Segrera (Stroke), Jackson Bryan (3), Asher Lieberman (2), Will Mathes (Bow), and coxswain Nikki Jagid finished a smart race of the 3.2 mile course in 18:02 and placed 26th out of 32 entries. There was a very international field of crews from the US, Canada, UK, Hong Kong, and China. Given changes in the program and the challenges of Hurricane Irma, this is a very fine result and one from which RE Crew will build going forward.

RE Crew will next field crews at the Head of the Hooch regatta in Chattanooga, TN over the weekend of November 4-5.
