Two robotics teams win awards at Junior Orange Bowl
Two RE robotics teams claimed major awards at the Junior Orange Bowl VEX Robotics Competition Nov. 4. A team of seniors – Shovan Bhatia, Jorge Zriek, Jordan Wong, Scott Kim, Ganesh Gajavelli, Harry Sanchez, Florence Hawkins, Brooke Miller and Evan Azari – shared the Tournament Championship with two other teams; and RE's Luisa Guarco ’19, Magnus Oberg ’21 and Makenzie Love ’19 won the Judges Award. Fifty teams competed in the event at Miami Springs Center.
RE Coach Bob DuBard led a number of teams from RE at the event.
