Second wave of freshmen is Outward Bound

The second wave of freshmen departed for the annual Outward Bound trip Jan. 22, two days after the safe return of the rest of the Class of 2021. The first wave split into small groups and navigated the waterways in and around Everglades National Park in canoes for five days, using compasses and charts to guide them. On Jan. 19, the freshmen remaining on campus traveled to Cape Florida State Park at the tip of Key Biscayne for a mangrove clean up; the freshmen on campus on Jan. 26 will conduct a similar service project at Matheson Hammock State Park.
When the second wave of students return, we will share photos from their trips.
