RE's college counseling office presented a Financial Aid and College Costs Information Session for all parents on Jan. 23 led by Deanna Voss, the Dean of Undergraduate Admission at NOVA Southeastern and former admissions executive at the University of Miami. Voss provided guidance the various loans, work study, scholarships and aid available at the federal, state and institutional levels. She also offered tips on getting ahead in the process.
College Counselor Lindsey Wagner introduced Voss at the financial aid session, a new offering for RE parents this year. Voss explained the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the CSS/Financial Aid Profile, the Florida Bright Futures program and many other elements of the financial aid process, and then took questions from parents.
