Juniors' business app wins third place
Arianna Gonzalez '19 and Maia Mora '19 finished third in the Innovate South Florida 2018 High School Business Plan Competition on April 11 with an app designed to connect aspiring make-up artists to young Miamians seeking inexpensive makeovers. The pair impressed the judges with their market research and strong performance in the question-and-answer session, helping their "Glow Up" app to place third out of 11 entries.
The team has been led by AP Micro/Macroeconomics teacher Jen Nero.
