Boys' Varsity Golf Continues Hot Start, Defeats Lake Highland Prep by One Stroke

The Boys' Varsity Golf Team continued their win streak of five straight matches by defeating Lake Highland Prep by one stroke at the newly renovated, historic Country Club of Orlando. Narrow fairways and speedy greens challenged both teams. However, the Raiders' consistent scoring allowed them to protect their undefeated season. A fantastic team effort was highlighted by an even par (36's) by both Jake Beber-Frankel and Zach Buttrick to hold off the Highlanders. Beber-Frankel (73) led the Raiders while Anderson Murphy (77) and Buttrick (78) both contributed with strong performances of their own. Eldon Spencer (80) rounded out the scoring for the team. The final score was Ransom Everglades, 308 and Lake Highland Prep, 309.
