Demolition underway at Upper School

A hydraulic excavator methodically demolished most of two non-academic buildings near the site of the proposed STEM Center on Nov. 12, allowing Ransom Everglades to take a major step forward in its REinventing Excellence campaign. The two small, one-story structures in an administrative cluster behind Timken Hall were the first to fall since the business office was demolished last June.
Work will continue to clear two additional non-academic buildings and Timken Hall. Once those are cleared, construction on the three-story, 45,000 sq. ft. STEM Center can commence.

After the demolition of the business office, dozens of trees were relocated from the construction zone to a temporary home on the La Brisa property back lawn. Work is underway on a new drop-off loop, and new fiber optic cables for the entire campus are being installed.
