Students orchestrate MS play

Nearly three dozen students showed the depth and breadth of their performing arts talents by directing, managing, producing or acting in the fall Middle School play, "Tales of  Fourth Grade Nothing" at Swenson Hall Nov. 7-9. From the contributions of student directors Lila Diamond '23 and Sophia Roanov-Imber '24, to lead actors Nico Maynulet '23, Sophia Adams '23, Ben Joseph '23 and Mikey Day '25, to sound, lighting and stage design crew Jake Perdigon '24, Miguel Kumar '25, Griffin Nelson-Montet '25 and Gabriela Pena '24, students made this production their own.
Faculty member Gina Montet oversaw and directed the students' efforts with assistance from Cecilia Gonzalez. Maynulet starred a Peter, a fourth grader continually overshadowed by his tantrum-throwing little brother Fudge, played by Day. Adams and Joseph played the boys' parents, and more than a dozen students played significant roles in the tale that ended with a hospital visit after Fudge swallowed a turtle.
