All-school winter strings concert rings in holiday
RE strings students rang in the holiday season with an all-school Winter Orchestra Concert at Swenson Hall that featured an array of winter classics. The concert illustrated the students' remarkable progression in strings at the Middle School, opening with the exciting promise of the sixth-grade Beginning Orchestra and culminating with the excellence of the Middle School Chamber Ensemble, which performed "O Holy Night" with soloist and RE faculty member Cecilia Gonzalez. The event concluded with "Festival of Lights" from the Upper School Orchestra. Photo Gallery

Among the holiday songs: "A Beethoven Lullaby" by the Beginning Orchestra; "Carol of the Bells" by the intermediate students; "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" by the advanced musicians.
