Girls' Varsity Soccer Holds Miami Edison Scoreless
The Girls' Varsity Soccer Team welcomed district opponent Miami Edison to Robert E. Walker Field on Friday afternoon. Reading Beardslee and Lucia Font each contributed 2 goals and Mia Balestra, Mia Goldberg and Rachel Simkovic each added a goal of their own to keep the team's perfect record intact in district play at 4-0. Assists were tallied by Talia Berler, Sophia Salguiero and Isabella Sosa. Preston Edmunds recorded the shutout for the Raiders. The final score was Ransom Everglades, 8 and Miami Edison, 0.
