RE sailing wins second regional event

RE sailors finished first in the South Atlantic Interscholastic Sailing Association South Points No. 3 regatta in Sarasota on Dec. 8, topping a field of 26 schools and capturing a second straight regional event. RE's A and B teams contributed to the victory with strong performances. The Raiders finished with 36 points, defeating second-place Immaculata La Salle (51) and third place Riverview (Sarasota) High (69).
The A team included Liam O'Keefe '21, Bernat Miro '19, Michael Macrae '19, Lachlain McGranahan '20 and Hannah Bast '21. The B team included Javi Garcon '21, Claire Holzman '21 and Adam Kaplan '21. RE's teams were led by coach Joe Logan.
