Phil Lord '93 wins Golden Globe
Phil Lord '93 won a Golden Globe Award for producing and co-writing Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which was named best animated feature on Jan. 6. The movie, which was released in December, topped Pixar's Incredibles 2; Disney's Ralph Breaks the Internet; Wes Anderson's Isle of Dogs; and GKIDS' Mirai. In Miami last April for his 25-year reunion, Lord visited several classes and regaled RE students with stories of his adventures in filmmaking.
