RE's math students earn strong results at regional math event

Ransom Everglades upper and middle school students posted strong results at the Florida Association of Mu Alpha Theta (FAMAT) March Regional held at Cypress Bay High School. RE's calulus team, Aarav Jindal ’26, Alex Tevelow ’26, Max Grunwald ’26 and Daniel Li ’26, placed fourth out of nearly 30 competing teams. In the individual round, which included 240 students, Tevelow earned fifth place and Grunwald earned sixth. At the middle school level, Ivy Chen ’30 placed 11th in the Algebra 2 competition.

The upper school team was supported by faculty members Sebastian Revollo and Thor Andreassen, and the middle school team is coached by faculty member Ashley Ernst.
