Twenty-one RE students named National Merit Semifinalists

Twenty-one Ransom Everglades students earned recognition as 2027 National Merit Semifinalists, putting them in the top one percent of high school seniors nationwide based on their performances on the PSAT exam. The students – Sienna Bautista '27, Owen Brue '27, Nicolas Castillo '27, Peter Cejas '27, Zachary Corbin-Cheah '27, Eva Cunningham '27, Mateo Delgado '27, Luisa Duarte '27, Kathryn Elgarresta '27, Auguste Houlle '27, Diego Lopez-Ona '27, Sloane Mason '27, Sofia Mena '27, Lila Mosse '27, Nicolas Motoki '27, Sebastian Pita Mendez '27, Girish Raju '27, Eric Sharp '27, Elliot Slusky '27, Yuelu Wang '27 and Sabine Wolfensberger '27 – are eligible to continue the quest for $2,500 National Merit Scholarships, which will be awarded in spring 2027.
