Eighteen seniors admitted to Cum Laude Society, honoring top 10 percent of the class
Ransom Everglades honored the top 10 percent of the Class of 2026 during a Cum Laude Society induction at the Lewis Family Auditorium on Sept. 11. The seniors Ryan Alesandro '26, Connor Alfonso '26, Jacob Aronow '26, McKenzie Connell '26, Gustavo do Valle '26, Matias Dovarganes '26, Chloe Dubose '26, Ana Gonzalez '26, Charlotte Gould '26, Max Grunwald '26, Beatrice Hernandez '26, Aarav Jindal '26, Ava McAliley '26, Alicia Medina '26, Constantino Pena '26, Isabela Pulido '26, Sofia Rhone-Fernandez '26, and Minnie Zhou '26 received their Cum Laude Society certificates from RE's Chief of Innovation & Strategic Programming John King and Humanities Department Chair Jen Nero.
The Cum Laude Society, which invites the induction of the top 10 percent of the senior class in the fall and the second 10 percent in the spring, was established in 1906 and it seeks to recognize excellence, justice and honor. Assistant Head of the Upper School Adriana Sanchez called their names during the ceremony, and all of the students will be honored with a dinner with Head of School Rachel Rodriguez and other academic leaders at the Pagoda.
Founded in 1903, Ransom Everglades School is a coeducational, college preparatory day school for grades 6 - 12 located on two campuses in Coconut Grove, Florida.
