Girls' Varsity Track & Field Starts Season with 2nd Place Finish

The Girls' Varsity Track & Field Team opened their season with a 2nd place finish at the RE Quad Opener hosted by Ransom Everglades at Coral Gables High School.
 
Daniela Zaidenbrg finished in 2nd place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.65 and 1st in the pole vault with 2.43 meters.
 
The team swept 1st and 2nd place finishes in both the 200 meter dash and the 400 meter dash. Vashti Claybrook (25.50) and Zoe Tsoukas (27.64) led the way in 200 meter dash while Brooke Scott and Maia Gold paced the Raiders with 1:02.36 and 1:02.69 respectively.
 
Madison Munroe finished 1st in the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:36.73.
 
Claire Irigoyen (12:42.92) and Fernanda Garcia Moreno Alvarez (13:00.63) were the top two finishers in the 3200 meter run.
 
Nicole Tacher Lois clinched the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 49.31.
 
Zoe Tsoukas (4.82 meters) and Daniela Zaidenberg (4.70 meters) captured 2nd and 3rd place finishes in the long jump.
