Girls' Varsity Water Polo Captures Palm Beach Invitational

The Girls' Varsity Water Polo Team traveled to St. Andrew's School for the Palm Beach Invitational this past weekend and finished the weekend 4-0 with a 1st place finish. In the first game on Friday the team defeated Boone High School, 9-3. Emanuelle Dooreck-Aloni led the team with 4 goals. Anna Sannia and Grace Waibel both contributed 3 steals. In the second game on Friday, the Raiders defeated Boca Raton High School, 14-6. Emanuelle Dooreck-Aloni found the back of the net on 3 occasions. Karin Belausteguigoitia (4) and Sarah Mesa (3) led the team in steals. On Saturday the team was paired against district-rival Gulliver Prep. The team rose to the occasion by defeating Gulliver by a score of 17-6. Emanuelle Dooreck-Aloni and Grace Waibel recorded 4 goals apiece. Karin Belausteguigoitia led the team in assists with 3. In the final game of the Palm Beach Invitational the Raiders defeated Winter Park, 11-5 to stay perfect on the weekend. Sarah Mesa led the team in goals with 4. Grace Waibel contributed 3 goals and 3 steals while Emanuelle Dooreck-Aloni added 3 goals of her own.
