Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Dominates Draw in Victory Over Key West

The Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Team traveled to Key West High School for a Regional Quarterfinal matchup versus the Conchs and came out victorious, 17-3. The team dominated the draw control, holding a 19-3 advantage with Calliste Skouras (8), Sophia Antezana (5), Maya Rego (3) and Jojo Pena (3) leading the way. Skouras led the team in goals with 5 and Antezana (2 assists, 3 ground balls) and Rachel Beinstock each contributed a hatrick. Maya Rego recorded 2 goals and 2 assists while Gaby Pena and Coco Sell each had a goal and an assist. J. Pena and Georgia Crosby added a goal apiece. Sloane Sell picked up 2 ground balls and goaltender Helaina Harris stopped 8 shots and caused 3 turnovers. With the win the team advances to the Regional Semifinal against St. Thomas Aquinas on Monday, April 29 at Robert E. Walker Field. Game time is set for 5:00 PM.
