Varsity Baseball Defeats Riviera Prep, Advances to Championship
The Varsity Baseball Team traveled to Miami Country Day for the South Florida Baseball Conference semifinal game against the Riviera Prep Bulldogs. Pitcher Tommy Fisher recorded the win for the Raiders with 6 innings pitched and 5 strikeouts. Leading the offense was Thomas Laranjeira Heisel who went 3-4 with 2 doubles and a triple. Jake Martin and James Srebnick each contributed 2 RBIs. Chris Basile came in for relief in the 7th inning and had 2 strikeouts. The final score was Ransom Everglades, 9 and Riviera Prep, 3. The team will face Palmer Trinity in the championship game at Miami Country Day on Thursday, May 2 at 7:00 PM.
