Review MD6 vs Riviera Prep
Yesterday, Wednesday, December 4th, our Middle School Boys Varsity Soccer team faced Riviera Prep in a challenging matchup that the boys described as a “wake-up call” ahead of key upcoming games against Miami Country Day on Friday and Gulliver Prep on Tuesday.
Despite the difficulties, the team displayed moments of brilliance, scoring three well-crafted goals. Arthur Veloso opened the scoring with a clinical finish off a set-piece play. Sandro Salvat doubled the lead with a great effort, showcasing the team’s ability to counterpress, recover possession in the offensive third, and combine effectively. The third goal came from Landon Elfenbein, who capped off an impressive build-up play by breaking pressure and finishing with a superb shot.
The team’s resilience and teamwork were evident, providing valuable lessons to carry into the rest of the season. Let's keep pushing, Raiders!
