RE Middle School Crew Competes at Miami International Regatta
Ransom Everglades Middle School Rowing battled 20+ mile an hour winds to compete in their first Regatta of the 2016-2017 season. Three experienced rowers; Sebastian Arguello '21, Palmer Lykes '21 and Rohit Yavagal '21, led two mostly novice crews to a recorded first place in the boys MS 8+cox. Congratulations to Gideon Shaked, Sebastian Arguello, Rohit Yavagal, Palmer Lykes, Wirth Munroe, Matias Silva, Phillip Craft, Nicolas Echarte and Adam Chopp. Immediately after, with no time for a break they returned to the start to earn a solid first place in the mixed MS 8+cox. Congratulations to Gideon Shaked, Sebastian Arguello, Rohit Yavagal, Palmer Lykes, Fahren Hatami, Vivi Davis, Phillip Craft, Claudia O’Sullivan and Caitlin Matthews.
