RE Sailing Places 3rd at Larry White Regatta, Lobree Qualifies for Nationals

Larry White Regatta USCGA (New London, CT)
The RE Sailing Team finished in 3rd place out of 20 invited top high school teams from New England to as far south as the Virgin Islands. Sailing A division: Julia Johansson '19 and Maddie Sharp '18 finished 8th. Sailing B division: Javier Garçon '21, Celine de Araujo '18, Michael Macrae '19, Tucker Weed '19 and Bernat Miro '19 won their division.

Cressy Trophy Singlehanded Champs Qualifier (St. Pete, FL)
Senior Paul Lobree won the Laser full rig division sailing against sailors from the entire SE of the US. He qualified to represent RE at national champs in two weeks. Adam Kaplan '21 competed for the first time finishing 35th. New to the Laser class, this experience will help him be more competitive over the next three years.
