Robotics (VEX) Team

Robotics team wins Design Award at South Florida competition

A team of RE juniors excelled at a robotics competition that drew 40 teams from South Florida. Lucas Lafosse-Marin '27, Nicolas Motoki '27, Nicolas Castillo '27, Girish Raju '27 and Ricardo De Lorenzi '27 received the Design Award for their robot, and also finished third overall in the skills competition at the 2025-25 VEX V5 "Push Back" Robotics Competition at American High in Hialeah on December 6. Under the direction of RE robotics coach Bob DuBard, the team compiled a 6-1 record at the event, which served as a qualifier for the regional championship.
