RE sweeps SF Fall History Bee and Bowl

Ransom Everglades swept the 2021 South Florida Fall History Bee and Bowl on November 13, winning all four events: the varsity and junior varsity bowls (team) and bees (individual). Leo Fein ’23 won the varsity bee and helped RE’s varsity team to first place in the varsity bowl as Daniel Figueroa ’24 won the JV bee and helped RE’s junior varsity team to first in the JV bowl.
Ransom Everglades' varsity included Fein, Nico Civantos ’22, Gabe Mora ’22 and Max Wiesenfeld ’23; and the JV team, Figueroa, Chase Dubovy ’25, Isabel Chong ’24 and Parker Jelke ’26. Twenty teams participated in the event at the Archimedean Upper Conservatory in Miami.

The teams were led by coaches Branly Fontaine and Abby Berler.
