Raider defense shines in 21-0 victory over North Broward Prep
Senior Edwin Carr '26 led the way with a dominant performance that included two sacks, and seven tackles as the Raider defense earned a shutout in a 21-0 victory over North Broward Prep. Fellow senior Charlie Holleman '26 added a pair of sacks to get his season off to a strong start, and the Raider offense found their footing late in the first half when sophomore quarterback Matthew Guevara '28 connected with sophomore Colton Smith '28 in the back of the endzone to get the Raiders on the scoreboard. Sophomore tailback Noah Alce '28 was electric all night carrying the Raider offense with 23 carries for 168 yards and two touchdowns. The Raiders will now take their show on the road as they head to Somerset Silver Palms for a Thursday evening clash at 7 p.m. and an opportunity to go 2-0.
