Boys' Varsity Volleyball Avenges Loss, Advances to District Final

The Boys' Varsity Volleyball Team traveled to Christopher Columbus High School to square off against the host school and #2 seed in the district semifinal. During the regular season the Raiders lost a heartbreaking 5 set match against the Explorers. However, this time the story was different. In another thrilling 5 set match, the Raiders came out victorious and advanced to the district final on Wednesday night. Ryan Peluso led the charge with 25 kills, 4 aces and 2 blocks. Will Drody contributed 12 kills and Thomas Murphy recorded 6 kills and 5 blocks. Logan Courey added 4 kills and 4 blocks while Nicolas Stone Perez dished out a team-high 44 assists and served 2 aces. Rylan Sadler had a solid defensive effort with 9 digs.
