Raiders give back to community

Ransom Everglades School commitment to community was on full display at the Ansin Aquatic Center this past Saturday. Scholars from the Breakthrough program spent the day with both our girls and boys swim team learning and engaging in swim development. A special thank you goes out to all who made this day possible.

Daniella Nunez, program director at the Breakthrough project had these words to share about the event.
"I want to thank coach Huggins and coach Hastings for going out of his way in making this such a special day for everyone. It was a beautiful experience for all involved and I can testify it was truly a REACH project. Some taught, some learned and all took part in a gratifying activity. I wish you could have seen how both the middle schoolers and the upper schoolers grew just by sharing their swim experience with the Breakthrough scholars. The Breakthrough scholars who were mostly very shy at the beginning ended up having an amazing time and would like to get back in the pool and practice their new skills soon".

Congratulations to all involved on a wonderful day!
