Raiders extend win streak

Junior Lucas Ortiz '21 had 23 points, four rebounds, and four steals in a hard fought 67-57 win over North Miami Beach High School. The Raiders came out strong with a 21 point first quarter behind two three pointers by junior Neil Schiff '21 as they built an early five point lead. Seniors Jack Fitzpatrick '20 and Isaac Szomstein '20 controlled the game in the second quarter with impressive play around the rim as the Raiders extended their lead to ten at the half. The second half went back and forth before junior Nicholas Lampert '21 showed his playmaking ability and  put the game away with a pair of strong finishes late in the fourth quarter. The win moves the Raiders to 13-0 as they head to Lasalle High School tonight at 6:30 PM.
