Big fourth quarter keeps undefeated season alive

All season long the fourth quarter has belonged to this Raider basketball team. That was on display once again as the Raiders trailed 43-38 at the start of the final period. A transition three point play at the rim by Junior Neil Schiff '21 was followed by a Lucas Ortiz '21  lay up to tie the game at 43-43 with just under five minutes remaining in the game. The Raider defense would come up with big play after big play before finally converting on the offensive end with a pair of three pointers. Clutch free throw shooting in the last minute would allow the Raiders to maintain a small lead as they would go on to defeat Palmer Trinity by a score of 58-53. The victory moves the Raiders to 18-0 (20-0 including the pre-season classic) as they host Scheck Hillel tonight at home with tip off at 7:30 PM. Come out and support your Raiders!
