Senior Ben Thorpe '20 comes up clutch as Raiders defeat Palmer Trinity

In front of the Raiders largest crowd of the season, senior Ben Thorpe '20 produced two big time plays in the final minute to give the Raiders a season sweep of rival Palmer Trinity. The game saw multiple lead changes in the second half until senior Joseph Kodsi '20 and junior Lucas Ortiz '21 provided key baskets to extend the Raider lead to six. The Raiders would keep that lead until the final minute of the game when Palmer Trinity would convert a pair of free thows to take a 53-52. Thorpe would then answer with back to back baskets and the Raider defense would get a stop on the final possession and hold on with a 56-55 victory. The win moves the Raiders to 21-2 as they close out the regular season with two games at home later this week.
