Raiders advance to district semifinal with 84-41 victory
Neil Schiff '21 poured in 35 points and junior Jayden Vrins '21 added six points, three rebounds, and a steal as the Raiders cruised to an 84-41 victory in the district quarterfinal matchup against Pinecrest Prep. The first half was a back and forth affair as neither team could get defensive stops. The second half was a different story as the Raiders outscored their opponent by a score of 41-7 behind great shot making and stifling defense. The Raiders received contributions from all 12 players who found their way onto the stat sheet. The victory moves the Raiders to 23-3 on the season as they prepare for a showdown with Florida Christian in the district semfinal tonight at 7:00PM with the game being played at Riviera Prep.
