Raiders advance to regional semifinal on penalty kicks

A frustrating night played out in regulation as the Raiders could not get on the scoreboard despite strong efforts across the board. Thankfully the goaltending of senior Preston Edmunds '20 and strong defense also kept Coral Shores off the scoreboard resulting in a 0-0 score at the end of the 2nd half. The overtime period would play out the same leading to penalty kicks to decide who would move on. Juniors Lindsay Gould '21, Maya Rego '21 and sophmore Mather Davidson '22 would deliver in the clutch as they converted their penalty kick attempts. Preston Edmunds would come up with three saves of her own and the  Raiders would advance with a 1-0 victory. With the win the Raiders will now go on the road to face Carrollton this Friday at 3:00 PM with a berth in the regional final at stake. Please come out and support our Raiders!
