Raiders put together special performance on senior night in 7-0 victory
On a night devoted to honoring a tremendous senior class, it was the seniors who dominated play making sure the Raiders would leave the field with a victory over Gulliver Prep by a score of 7-0. Senior Lindsay Gould '21 scored three times, and senior Mia Balestra '21 added two of her own to lead the route. Freshman Izzy Chong '24 rounded out the scoring with two goals while also adding an assist. The Raiders controlled possession throughout the game and constantly attacked the back end of the Gulliver defense. Defensively, the Raiders were terrific, allowing senior Dani Ortiz '21 to record her eighth shut out of the season. The victory moves the team to 8-1 on the season as they get back to the practice field to prepare for a road game at Divine Savior this Friday afternoon. Start time is scheduled for 3:30 PM at Doral Meadows Park
