Raider volleyball defends home court to move to 2-0.
Junior Devonte Payton '22 led the way with 13 kills, three blocks, and three digs as the Raiders defeated SLAM Academy by the score of 25-19, 25-16, 25-21 in a three set sweep. Senior Ethan Gomez '21 had his best game of the season with a team high 24 assists to go along with four digs, and three aces. Sophomore Adrian Stone '23 added fourteen digs of his own, as well as four aces, and three kills. The Raiders took early leads in all three games and showed consistent effort and quality of play throughout the match as they never trailed. The Raiders will get back in the gym today as they prepare to host Braddock High School tomorrow evening at home. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 PM
