Raiders stay perfect with 4 set victory over Braddock High School

Sophomore Gabriel Menendez de Alencar '23 led the way with fourteen digs, thirteen service points, 4 kills, and 2 blocks as the Raiders overcame early adversity to win in four sets by a score of  22-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-15. Junior Devonte Payton '22 continued his stellar play with a season high 19 kills, 11 blocks, and 10 digs. Senior Ethan Gomez '21 had a team high 30 assists to go along with four digs, and three aces to round out the stat sheet. Despite a slow start in set one, the Raiders found their footing in set two behind strong all around play from the entire group. The Raider defense was sharp in sets three and four to help close out the match. The victory moves the team to 3-0 on the season as they prepare to host Coral Gables High School Tuesday afternoon. Game time is scheduled for 4:30 PM.
