Sailing Raiders Win SP#3 Regatta

This past weekend, the Ransom Everglades varsity sailing team competed in their third regatta of the spring season at the district South Points #3 Regatta in Vero Beach, Florida.  Six Raider sailors participated, competing against 16 Florida High Schools. The Raiders had a strong performance, displaying consistency as they went toe to toe with La Salle High School for the title, eventually winning the over all!  The morning races were challenging with light and shifty winds.  In the afternoon winds picked up and so did the racing. The B division was won by team captain Javi Garcon '21, Liam O'Keefe '21, Nicolas Echarte '21 and Lucas Vianna '21.  The A Division was represented by the return of Stephan Baker '22 and Aidan Murphy '21.
