Raiders take home silver in SAISA South Points #4 Regatta

This past weekend the varsity sailing team traveled to Jensen Beach, FL participating in the SAISA South Points #4 Regatta. Perfect conditions for sailing awaited the Raiders with winds topping at 25 knots. Led by seniors Liam O'keefe '21, and Nicholas Echarte '21 the Raiders placed third in the A division fleet.  In the B division it was sophomore Jackson McAliley '23 who sailed with veteran heavy wind crewmember Louis LaFontisee '21 to secure a second place finish. Overall the Raiders finished second as a team in the 15 team field capping off a strong weekend. The Raiders will now begin preparation for the SAISA Baker team race qualifier next Saturday at the Harry Anderson Watersports Center.
