Hot shooting leads Raiders to victory
Junior Daniel Ribeiro '23 led the way with 40 points on nine three pointers to lead the Raiders to a 79-65 victory over Coral Reef High School. Seniors Aidan Rothstein '22 and Eli Goldman '22 combined for 27 points, seven assists, and six rebounds in a strong performance to get the season off on the right foot. Junior Kyler Pace '23 shined in the third quarter with eight crucial points and 3 rebounds. The Raiders converted on 12 of 26 three pointers and shot 54% from the field in the victory. A 22 point first quarter opened up a double digit lead that the Raiders would never relinquish in route to a 14 point win. A quick turnaround awaits as the Raiders will host Keys Gate Charter School before the Thanksgiving break. Tip time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
