Raiders roll on senior night

Junior Kathryn Serra '23, and sophomore Gabriela Pena '24 combined for 25 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 steals in a 57-21 victory over Florida Christian to close out the regular season on their home floor. Seniors Blythe Heller '22, Alexandra Henriquez '22, and Caroline Sosler '22 were celebrated before and after the game for their contributions to the Ransom Everglades girls basketball program. On an emotional night, the Raiders came out on fire with a 17-3 first quarter score. A made three pointer by Sosler '22 early in the second quarter extended the lead to 20 as the Raiders closed the half with a 34-6 lead. All 11 Raiders who suited up contributed in the box score in the victory. The Raiders will get back to the practice courts today as they prepare for the final regular season game of the year at Pinecrest tomorrow evening. Game time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
