Raiders shut out opponent to close regular season

The Raiders celebrated senior night with an emphatic performance in a 51-0 shut out against Florida Christian. Senior quarterback Jackson Pegg '23 continued his strong season with a season high six touchdown passes and 301 passing yard. Senior AJ Srebnick '23 had a night to remember with six catches for 133 yards and two touchdowns. Srebnick also recorded his first career interception on the defensive side of the ball. Junior Jordan Gonzalez '24 added his first rushing touchdown of the season in the victory. Defensively, the Raiders had their best night of the season led by senior Luca Trebotich '23 who recorded a sack and fumble recovery. Sophomore Rudy Pages '24 added two sacks, and four tackles. It was also a big night for the special teams unit as juniors Isabel Chong '24, Jacob Katz '24 and freshman Carlos Lavernia '26 converted on PAT's.  The victory concluded the Raider regular season at 5-2 and the top seed in the independent league playoffs. The Raiders will host the #4 seeded Coral Shores Hurricanes in a semifinal matchup Friday evening. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
