Raiders finish T-4th at prestigious Cardinal Newman Invitational
The #8-ranked Raiders in Class 1A traveled north to Tequesta on Friday to compete in the prestigious Cardinal Newman Invitational at Turtle Creek Club, one of South Florida’s premier golf venues. Facing a talented field that included 3A #1 Jupiter, 3A #4 William T. Dwyer, and 1A #3 Oxbridge Academy, the Raiders delivered one of their strongest team performances of the season, firing a 293 (+5) to finish T-4th against some of the top programs in the state. Senior Zachary Fischer '27 led the way with an outstanding 70 (-2), setting a new career-best score at Ransom Everglades. Sophomore Pablo Muñoz Montes '29 also posted a career-best performance, carding an impressive 72 (E). Sophomore Cole Durham '29 added a 74 (+2), while eighth grader Anson Dover '31 rounded out the team scoring with a 77 (+5). Boys golf earns runner up finish at Palm League Invitational
Read MoreThe 6th Annual Boys & Girls Palm League Golf Tournament brought together many of the top 1A and 2A high school golf programs in South Florida, including top-ranked Benjamin, for a championship day at the historic Biltmore Hotel Golf Course in Coral Gables. With perfect summer-like conditions, the stage was set for an outstanding day of high school golf. The Raiders delivered their best Palm League performance in program history, firing an impressive 283 (-1) to finish runner-up in the highly competitive field. The performance marked a 13-stroke improvement over last year's previous team best of 296 (+12) and earned the Raiders their first second-place finish since the Palm League Tournament began in 2021. It was an outstanding all-around team effort, highlighted by strong performances from the Raiders' experienced leaders and an exciting contribution from one of the team's youngest rising stars. Sophomore Cole Durham '29 led the way with a brilliant 69 (-2), tying for first place and narrowly missing the individual championship after a thrilling playoff. Freshman Axel Monssoh '30 and his younger brother, Victor Monssoh '33, each carded an impressive 70 (-1) to finish tied for third, while senior Zachary Fischer '27 rounded out the Raider scoring with a solid 74 (+3), good for a tie for 18th. -

Raiders earn 2nd place finish at WCS Invitational
Read MoreCongratulations to the Ransom Everglades Boys Varsity Golf team on a great start to the season at the WCS Invitational! The Raiders finished 2nd overall, just a few strokes behind rival Columbus. The tournament featured some of the finest boys’ golf teams in South Florida, with Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties all well represented. A long and challenging course, speedy greens, warm temperatures, and steady breezy conditions made scoring difficult throughout the day. The Raiders were led by sophomore Cole Durham '29, who finished 5th overall with a 74 (+3). Eighth grader Anson Dover '31 and senior Zac Fischer '27 both posted 76 (+5) to tie for 12th, while fellow senior Mathew Puntikov '27 finished tied for 22nd with a 78 (+7). It was an impressive opening-day performance against a strong field and a great way to begin the 2026-27 season. Congratulations to Coach and the entire Raider Golf team!
