Boys' Varsity Volleyball Avenges Loss, Advances to District Final
Read MoreThe Boys' Varsity Volleyball Team traveled to Christopher Columbus High School to square off against the host school and #2 seed in the district semifinal. During the regular season the Raiders lost a heartbreaking 5 set match against the Explorers. However, this time the story was different. In another thrilling 5 set match, the Raiders came out victorious and advanced to the district final on Wednesday night. Ryan Peluso led the charge with 25 kills, 4 aces and 2 blocks. Will Drody contributed 12 kills and Thomas Murphy recorded 6 kills and 5 blocks. Logan Courey added 4 kills and 4 blocks while Nicolas Stone Perez dished out a team-high 44 assists and served 2 aces. Rylan Sadler had a solid defensive effort with 9 digs. -
Boys' Varsity Volleyball Wins Last Regular Season Game

Ryan Peluso led the Raiders with 20 kills and 6 digs while Will Drody had 18 kills of his own. Nicolas Stone Perez had a team-high 45 assists and Ryan Sadler led the team in digs with 7. Thomas Murphy contributed 3 kills and 4 blocks and Logan Courey added 2 kills and 2 blocks. Magnus Kron had 3 service aces. -
Boys' Varsity Volleyball Defeats Belen Jesuit on Senior Night
Ryan Peluso had a team-high 40 kills as the Boys' Varsity Volleyball Team defeated Belen Jesuit on Senior Night, 3-1. Will Drody contributed 18 kills, 3 blocks and 2 aces while Thomas Murphy added 4 kills and 5 blocks. Nicolas Stone Perez led the team in assists with 61 and Logan Courey had 2 kills and 2 blocks, including the game-winning block to propel the Raiders to victory. Boys' Varsity Volleyball Finishes Second at Smoothie King Invitational
Read MoreThe Boys' Varsity Volleyball Team finished in 2nd place at the 11th Annual Smoothie King Invitational hosted by Ransom Everglades School. The team lost to Dr. Phillips High School in the Gold Division championship game in a hard fought match in three sets: 15-25, 25-20, 13-15. Ryan Peluso led the Raiders with 15 kills, 4 service aces and 6 digs while Will Drody added 8 kills. Thomas Murphy contributed 3 blocks and 2 kills. Drody, Murphy and Peluso were selected to the All-Tournament Team. -
Boys' Varsity Volleyball Has Strong Showing at Dr. Phillips Tournament

Boys' Varsity Volleyball Claims Silver Division Championship
The Boys' Varsity Volleyball Team defeated Palmetto, John Leonard and Cooper City on Friday and Saturday to advance to the Silver Bracket championship game. In the semifinal match against Cooper City Ryan Peluso led the Raiders with 11 kills, 9 digs and 2 aces while Will Drody recorded 10 kills and 2 blocks. Nicolas Stone Perez contributed 30 assists and 2 blocks. Nick Namias added 3 aces and 8 total service points. Ben Cobb picked up 10 digs and 2 aces. In the championship match the Raiders defeated tournament host Cardinal Gibbons, 2-0. Peluso recorded 22 kills, 10 digs, 8 service points and 1 ace. Drody contributed 8 kills while Logan Courey added 3 blocks and 2 kills. Rylan Sadler picked up 6 digs and 2 aces and Nick Stone Perez dished out a team-high 36 assists along with 3 digs.Read More -

Peluso added 15 digs, 3 service aces and 2 assists. Will Drody (7) and Thomas Murphy (5) combined for 12 kills while stellar defensive play was displayed by Ben Cobb, who recorded 18 digs and 2 service aces. Nicolas Stone Perez contributed to the offensive attack with a season-high 69 assists. -
St. Brendan
Ryan Peluso, freshmen outside hitter from Ransom Everglades, lead his team to a come from behind win vs. district rival, St. Brendan. After trailing 0-2 in sets, Ryan set a school record by totaling 51 kills in a 5 set win. Ryan lead the team in hitting efficiency, .603 (51 kills/10 errors/68 total attempts) and he captured 15 digs, 3 service aces, 2 assists in the match. Will Drody chipped in 7 kills and Thomas Murphy added 5. Defensively, Ben Cobb was stellar. Ben recorded 18 digs and 2 service aces for the win. Nick Stone tallied 69 assists in the outing.Read More

Under the setting attack of Nicolas Stone Perez, Felipe Sarmiento and Nick Namias, the team was able to sweep the Cavaliers in three sets.
