Boys' Varsity Water Polo Completes Season as District Runner-Up
Read MoreThe Boys' Varsity Water Polo team traveled to Belen Jesuit for the district championships. Nico Valls led all scorers with 10 goals and Perry Samimy contributed 9 assists and 4 steals as the Raiders defeated the Columbus Explorers in the semifinal by a score of 17-8. Despite playing their best game of the season the team fell to the Belen Jesuit Wolverines in the district final by a score of 13-10. Nico Valls recorded 5 goals, 2 assists and 2 steals while Lucas Gomez added 2 goals, 3 assists and 2 steals. -
Boys' Varsity Water Polo Wins Thriller at RE Invitational

Lucas Gomez scored 3 goals and dished out 2 assists as the team defeated West Orange High School, 11-7. The final game of the tournament was a thrilling, double shootout win over Alonzo and Tracy Mourning Senior High School, 12-11. Perry Samimy led the team with 3 goals and 3 steals and Lorenzo Prattico scored the game-winner to seal the victory for the Raiders. -

The Boys' Varsity Water Polo Team collected two wins at the Gulliver Invitational. Lucas Gomez led all-scorers with 3 goals and 6 steals as the team defeated Cypress Bay High School, 15-1. The Boys' Varsity Water Polo Team traveled to St. Andrew's School this past weekend for the Palm Beach Invitational and were victorious in their first two games on Friday. Hayes Holly and Perry Samimy each recorded 3 goals as the team defeated St. Andrew's by a score of 11-8. Lucas Gomez contributed 4 steals while goaltender Kyle Pearson had 9 blocks including a penalty shot. In the second game against Lake Mary High School Nico Valls led the team in goals with 3. Nico Valls had a team-high 7 goals as the Boys' Varsity Water Polo Team defeated the visiting Christopher Columbus Explorers in their season opener on Tuesday evening at the Ansin Aquatic Center. Lucas Gomez recorded 4 goals of his own while both Alex Freedline and Hayes Holly found the back of the net on two occasions.
