Raider volleyball closes out regular season with victory
Senior Alexander Sargi '25 led the way with 20 assists, 14 kills, and three aces as the Raiders rolled to a three set victory over Greater Miami Academy to close out the regular season. It was a special night as the Raiders celebrated Sargi, the lone senior on the team in his final home game. Junior Tariq Maduro '26 and sophomore Shai Waizbrot '27 had strong performances combining for 30 kills, 22 digs, and six aces in the victory. The Raiders will now turn their attention to the post season earning the #2 seed in the district tournament. Raider volleyball earns road victory
Junior Tariq Maduro '26 led the way with 13 kills, 10 digs, and three blocks as the Raiders earned a four set road victory over Homestead Senior High School. Senior Alexander Sargi '25 added a season high twenty assists and sophomore Shai Waizbrot '27 had a strong all around game with 14 digs, six kills, and three aces in the victory. The Raiders overcame a sloppy first set before finding their footing in set two to tie things up at one a piece. From there the Raiders played their best two sets of the season to earn the victory.
