Raiders defeat Miami High in straight sets, improve to 2-0 in district
Senior Will Drody '20 and junior Nicolas Stone Perez '21 combined for 24 kills, 20 assists and five blocks as the Raiders played outstanding volleyball from start to finish. Senior Nick Namias '20 also enjoyed a big game with seven kills, two blocks, and 22 assists. The Raiders came out strong in set one building a large lead on their way to a 25-16 win. Set two saw the Raiders fight off two set points and come up with a key block on a set point of their own to win 27-25. The third set would end quickly with a 25-11 score. The victory moves the Raiders to 3-0 overall and 2-0 within their district.
