Raiders defeat Palmer Trinity with last minute score
Freshman Izzy Chong '24 scored the winning goal with three minutes left in the game from a fabulous cross from senior Hanna Hicks '21 to give the Raiders a 1-0 road victory at Palmer Trinity. Junior Mather Davidson '22, and senior Mia Balestra '21 controlled the midfield with strong performances in both halves of play. On the defensive end, junior Sophia Salgueiro '22 had her best game of the season, and senior goalkeeper Dani Ortiz '21 stood up to a strong Falcon attack making key saves all afternoon to shut out Palmer Trinity. The victory moves the Raiders to 3-0 on the season as they prepare for a home contest next Monday at 5:45 PM.
