Raiders advance to SFBC semifinal with 16-1 victory

Seniors Jack Harris '23 and Justin Saphier '23 combined for five hits, seven RBI's and two runs scored to lead the Raiders to a 16-1 SFBC quarterfinal victory over Everglades Prep. Freshman Jacob Rubenstein '26 turned in his best performance of the season with a pair of hits and an RBI in the win. On the mound, sophomore Noah Martin '25 was steady allowing one run and striking out six in three innings of work.  The Raiders broke the game open in the third inning with ten runs on eight hits and never looked back. The victory advances RE to the South Florida Baseball Conference semifinals where they will take on the top seed in Marathon High School at a neutral site. First pitch is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at Miami Country Day baseball field.
