Raiders earn top 5 finish at national team racing championships

This past weekend, the Ransom Everglades sailing team competed at the 2023 Baker Team Race National Championship in Minnetonka, Minnesota. After a day of light and variable breeze on Saturday, the team of Jackson McAliley ‘23, Ian Fox ‘24, Manolo Campos ‘25, Violet Martin ‘24, Griggs Diemar ‘25, Christine Keedy-Brown ‘24, and Evelyn Yu ‘24 placed 5th overall in the nation. Unfortunately, no wind on Sunday shortened the competition as no racing occured. The team will now get back on the water in preparation for the final event of the year at the  2023 Mallory Fleet Race National Championship in Tom’s River, New Jersey.
