Raider volleyball earns road victory

Juniors Julia Lewkowitz '25, and Mia Jean Claude '25 combined for 22 kills, eight blocks, eight digs, and four aces to lead the way in a decisive three set victory over Florida Christian to open the season.  Junior Lindsey Ng '25 was sharp in the opener with a team high 14 assists. The Raiders showed they were ready to play from the opening whistle jumping out to a 12-4 lead in the first set. From there, the Raiders would keep the pressure on to take the opening set 25-17. The second set saw both teams go toe to toe in a thrilling 26-24 come from behind victory. From there the Raiders would keep their foot on the gas and finish out the match in three sets. The team will get back on the court for practice today as they turn their attention to Miami Country Day in a road contest Monday afternoon. First serve is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
